Meet the Board

Eight neighbors. One commitment.

Every decision we make — about programming, about partnership, about the future — is shaped by the people who have chosen to steward this work.

The Imagine Morrisville Board is made up of nine board members whose careers, roots, and care shape every decision we make.

Together they bring decades of experience in the arts, government, nonprofit leadership, historic preservation, local business, higher education, faith-based community engagement, and organizational stewardship — and a shared commitment to the quiet, careful work of building something that lasts.

Sandra DeWilde

Community Builder · 24-Year Morrisville Resident

Sandra brings the perspective of someone deeply rooted in Morrisville — a resident for 24 years who has watched this community through seasons of change and continuity. Through her work supporting small businesses in downtown Morrisville, she understands what makes a main street thrive: connection, investment, and the kind of everyday presence that only comes from being woven into a community's fabric.

Her prior service on the board of the Friends of the Morrisville Dog Park demonstrates her commitment to the public good — to the work of building nonprofit organizations that bring people together around shared values. That experience brings practical wisdom to Imagine Morrisville: Sandra understands how organizations sustain themselves, how missions get rooted in community trust, and what it takes to turn a vision into something that lasts.

Sandra brings both a insider's knowledge of Morrisville and a clear-eyed commitment to the organization's core mission: bringing culture, music, and the arts to a town that is hungry for them. Her voice on the board ensures that this work stays grounded in the lived experience of the neighbors who will experience it most.

Eric Erickson

Business Owner · Morrisville, Pennsylvania

Eric brings the perspective of a local business owner with deep entrepreneurial roots in Morrisville. As a past president of the Morrisville Business Association and currently active member, he has invested years in the practical work of strengthening our town's economic vitality. His commitment to the borough is personal and sustained — the kind of investment that only comes from running a business on these streets, for these neighbors, over years.

That vantage point matters on a nonprofit board. Eric grounds Imagine Morrisville's vision in the practical realities of local economic life — what attracts people to Main Street, what keeps them coming back, what makes a small-town economy actually work. His voice reminds us that cultural vitality and economic vitality are not separate stories; they're the same story, told from different angles.

When Imagine Morrisville talks about building a cultural anchor for the borough, Eric helps keep the conversation grounded in the Morrisville that already exists — and in the Morrisville that's possible when businesses, artists, and residents build toward something together.

His stewardship of Stonewall is a living example of what it means to hold history with both care and purpose — to protect what matters while making room for what comes next. Kurt's commitment to inclusion, heritage preservation, and community engagement is woven into every facet of Imagine Morrisville.

The same values that make The Stonewall Inn a place of belonging for so many are values Morrisville is lucky to have at our table.

Melissa Lee

Founder & Executive Director, Graduate Admissions Pathways

Melissa brings more than two decades of leadership in higher education and nonprofit strategy. As Founder and Executive Director of Graduate Admissions Pathways, she has built an organization dedicated to expanding access to graduate education for first-generation students — work that requires both strategic discipline and deep belief in what's possible for individuals whose potential might otherwise go unseen.

That same lens informs her work on the Imagine Morrisville board. Melissa understands that the most meaningful community institutions are the ones that welcome people who weren't sure the door was open to them. Her commitment to equity, access, and the quiet mechanics of institutional trust shapes how she thinks about Morrisville's cultural future.

Melissa's nonprofit fluency, her experience building programs that actually change trajectories, and her instinct for inclusive design make her essential to Imagine Morrisville's growth.
